With their spirally lines, their broken forms, and sandblasted ridges, the discarded shells of sea creatures are an intricate record of the lives that have been lived inside them.  In creating the cyan-tinged Nautica I have sought to make something of these creatures' past lives visible again in the details of that which has survived them - their shells.
